South Los Angeles-Inglewood Republican Assembly presents Guest Speaker Joe Lisuzzo.
Joe Lisuzzo Bio:
Joe is a Los Angeles businessman and a graduate of UCLA, where he received his master's degree in film and television Producing, as well as an undergraduate degree in writing from California State University's department of Television and Cinema. Aside from writing and producing projects for the entertainment industry early in his career, for 32 years, Joe also co-owned and operated “AL Gelato,” a Los Angeles
landmark restaurant and acclaimed ice cream manufacturing company located on Robertson Boulevard, between Wilshire and Olympic Boulevards, on the Westside of Los Angeles.
In 2017 after three decades of serving his community and employing hundreds of people, Joe sold his company and in 2019 through 2020, Joe became the co-campaign manager and media director for James P. Bradley's run for Congress, helping Bradley win his primary and go on to the general election. In 2021, Joe ran for his State Senate district, in a special election where, and with only 3 weeks to campaign as a first-time candidate, Joe placed in the top 3 out of 7 candidates. In 2022, Joe still refuses to give up on helping his community and is again running for his State Senate District 28 seat, which runs from Wilshire Blvd. on the North to the Airport on the South, and from the ocean on the West to downtown Los Angeles.
Joe believes that Americans can fix anything if we work together. Joe asks for your vote, support and social media outreach to help him win for him to fight for changes needed to fix California. As State Senator, Joe promises to do everything he can in Sacramento for our City and State and will focus on ensuring Public Safety, Lowering gas pump taxes, business taxes and help bring back fiscal responsibility to the citizens of Los Angeles and the State of California.
